Six injured as family went on stabbing spree over property dispute

At least six people were injured when a group of 10 men with knives went on a stabbing spree over a property dispute in Delhi's Sangam Vihar area.
The incident occurred on Monday night and all the injured were taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre where two of them are said to be critical.
The police stated that this was a fight between two families over a property.
Around 10:30 pm, an argument between Ramavatar and his wife's family took place after which they attacked him and people on his side with knives.
"We were standing outside our relative's house in Sangam Vihar. Around 10:30 pm, a group came armed with knives and started stabbing us. Two of my brothers are critical," said Jitender, a victim.
While four of them were discharged, Ramavatar and Vishvender are still in ICU.
The police have arrested four Ramavatar's father Chandrabhaan and brothers Mukesh, Narender and Kartar Singh.
"We have booked a case under sections 326, 352 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (south east) Romil Baaniya.
