DCPCR seeks police report on minor's death within seven days

new delhi: Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) has now taken cognizance into the death of minor girl who was working as a maid in Model Town area.
Chairperson (DCPCR) Anurag Kundu said that the child rights body has sought report from police. "DCPCR has taken cognizance into the matter and has issued notice to SHO to file the reply outlining complete details within 7 days," he said.
The incident was reported on October 4, as per police claims the girl was found hanging from the ceiling with the help of bedsheet. "Deceased was identified as a resident of Rajpura Gur Mandi, Delhi. The deceased was a full time domestic maid for her 74-year-old employer," police claimed.
