DCPCR rescues 10 children
New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights on Tuesday said that they have rescued 10 children including girls from separate parts of city. The child rights body in their press statement said that they had conducted a rescue operation at a factory and various shops in Govindpuri area and rescued five children. Roop Sudesh Vimal, member DCPCR said that the children belonged to UP and Bihar. "They were working under hazardous circumstances," said Vimal. Meanwhile, in another raid, as many as five girls suspected to be trafficked from Assam were rescued from Moti Nagar area on Monday. According to child rights body, upon receiving a complaint from an NGO pertaining to five girls have been trafficked from Assam, Guwahati and were kept in Moti Nagar area.
