Cops probing case of AIIMS imposter doctor

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Monday said they have started investigation into a complaint received by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi about an man, who claimed himself to be a doctor of the premiere institution.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Dr Vijay Gujjar of AIIMS, claiming that a man, who identified himself as a doctor of Trauma Center met him during duty on Monday, but did not produce any document to prove his identity.
"Dr Gujjar requested the AIIMS security officer to issue directions to all doctors to display their I-card and to the security to check the I-cards," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya on Monday.
