Class IX student raped inside her house

Greater Noida: A 16-year-old class nine student was allegedly raped inside her house by an unidentified man in Phase-III area of Greater Noida in broad daylight on Saturday. The victim's family members accused the police of not registering an FIR in the case. However, on Tuesday, when senior police officials intervened, an FIR was registered and a probe has been launched into the matter.
According to the victim's parents, on Saturday afternoon when the girl was alone at her home, two suspects reached her house and one of them somehow sneaked inside while the other stood outside to keep a watch. The girl was raped by one of the accused after stuffing a cloth in her mouth. He also tried to strangle her before escaping.
The girl's family works as labourers in the area. She was alone at home as the family has gone out for work when the incident took place. "The accused entered the house taking advantage of her being alone at home. The culprit raped the girl and attempted to strangle her. The victim fell unconscious and blood came out of her nose. When she became conscious, she sobbed inconsolably and narrated the entire incident to us, following which we informed the police about the incident. However, the police did not register an FIR in the matter," her
father said.
