CISF organises mass promotion pipping ceremony for its personnel

New Delhi: A mass promotion pipping ceremony of CISF was organized at DMRC Auditorium in Barakhamba, New Delhi on Tuesday wherein Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, was the Chief Guest, who put epaulettes (ranks) to the promoted force personnel.

Rajesh Ranjan, DG, CISF issued directions to the concerned senior officers of CISF to work and create promotional avenues for the force personnel at large scale.

In order to create promotional avenues, a cadre review was carried-out which was duly approved by the MHA. As a result total 3,159 various ranks in the non-gazetted category have been promoted in the first phase. As many as 250 Sub-officers and personnel from various units who were to be promoted were invited for the function.

Dr Mangu Singh, CMD, DMRC, Alok Kumar Pateria, ADG (HQrs), MA Ganapathy, ADG(APS), S K Saxena, ADG(North), R K Mitra, Police Advisor, MHA and other Senior Officers of CISF were present during the ceremony.
