Chief Minister pays homage to Bhagat Singh on 'Shaheedi Diwas'

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh legacy prompted youth in India to began fight for the independence of India and today, he continues to be a youth icon in this modern India.
Kejriwal on Thursday paid floral tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru and Shaheed Sukhdev on the occasion of ' Shaheedi Diwas' at Delhi Assembly Complex.
Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health minister Satyender Jain also paid tribute to freedom fighters. Speaking on the occasion, Goel said that Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were the great sons of India, who were hanged till death by the British Government for raising their voice for the freedom of India.
The Second Lecture Second Lecture in the Delhi Assembly Lecture Series delivered by renowned lawyer, author and historian AG Noorani on the topic of "The trial of Bhagat Singh and his relevance today".
