Boy dies under mysterious circumstances

New Delhi: A 17-year-old newspaper vendor died under mysterious circumstances after he fell from the building of a residential apartment in Dwarka Sector-18, police said on Wednesday, adding that the case seems to be a suicide even though a final statement will be made after a detailed investigation report.

According to police, on October 16, a PCR call regarding a youth falling from Platinum Apartment in Dwarka was received. Investigators reached the spot and found the boy's body lying on the open area in a pool of blood.

The crime team was called and the victim was taken to DDU Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Cops later identified the 17-year-old, who lived in Mahavir Enclave in Dwarka.

Cops further said that inquiry revealed that the boy worked as newspaper vendor and used to take newspapers from Sector-6, Dwarka for distribution in residential societies of Dwarka. On Tuesday, as usual, he was distributing newspapers at Platinum

Apartment.
