BJP’s 32 candidates submit papers

New Delhi: Filing nominations for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, first 32 candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) successfully submitted their papers, marking a significant step in the party’s election campaign. The nominations were filed during an ‘auspicious’ timeframe, with a rally of public supporters and key BJP leaders present at various locations.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, who was present at several nomination events, expressed his belief that the overwhelming public participation indicated a strong desire for change in the city. He stated that the support for BJP candidates showcased the people’s frustration with the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and their desire to bring about a new government in Delhi.

“The massive public support for our candidates shows that the people of Delhi are fed up with the corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party government.

They are ready to bless BJP candidates and bring a double-engine government to Delhi,” Sachdeva said.

Several national leaders, including Delhi BJP MPs, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and BJP’s election in-charge Baijayant Jay Panda, participated in the nomination events, further signaling the party’s unity and strength heading into the elections. Parvesh Sahib Singh, BJP’s candidate from New Delhi, filed his nomination with Baijayant Jay Panda and MP Sushree Bansuri Swaraj by his side. In another key moment of the day, BJP candidate from Rohini, Vijender Gupta, filed his papers with Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in attendance, reaffirming the party’s resolve to secure a victory in the upcoming elections.
