Big defaulters of Yes Bank have direct links to BJP
New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh slammed the BJP on Monday and said the crisis of the Yes Bank is because of the BJP and the Central government. He also said that the Hindu Muslim virus of the BJP is more dangerous than the Coronavirus in the county. He said that the BJP's present formula is not sparing either Hindus or Muslims, and everyone will be duped. "The BJP should be renamed as Bharatiya Jeb Katra Party," said Singh.
He also slammed the ED for not acting upon defaulters such as Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, who have also been accused of committing fraud and money laundering.
Singh said, "Today a major crisis is going on in the country, where we have come across a huge scam related to Yes Bank, the 21 lakh account holders of Yes Bank are facing great difficulty. The big defaulters because of whom Yes Bank has been destroyed, these defaulters have direct links to the BJP. The Central government is supporting these defaulters of Yes Bank who have now thrown the future of a common man in darkness."
"Anil Ambani group took a loan of Rs 13000 crores from Yes Bank and gave Rs 20 crore to BJP. Essel Group took 3,300 crore rupees loan from Yes Bank and gave BJP a sum of 40 crore in the years 2017-2019. Radius Developers, third big defaulter, took 1200 crore as loan from Yes Bank and gave (in the year 2014-2015) 50 lakh rupees as donation to the BJP. These are all Yes bank defaulters who gave huge donations to the BJP and are friends to the party, and through them, the BJP has carried dacoity and loot of the money of a common man," added the MP.
"When the government got to know about irregularities in operations/transactions of Yes bank, the Union finance minister asked RBI to keep a check, after the year 2017, on Yes Bank. If RBI was overseeing it, so how come 1 lakh crore rupees of the loan was granted between 2017 to 2020 period. So BJP has assisted its friends to draw huge amounts of loans from Yes Bank and carry out theft on the hard-earned money of a common man," he added. Hindu-Muslim divide.
