NEW DELHI: On February 14, the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi Government completes three years in office. To celebrate this, the AAP will start a campaign to make the citizens aware of the pro-people's work done by the Delhi government in its tenure so far.
On 11 February, (Sunday) Vikas Yatras will be conducted in each assembly constituency of Delhi and all party MLAs, Ministers and functionaries will meet the citizens of Delhi and share the details of all the good work done by the government in three years.
"The AAP government in Delhi completes three years on 14th February. The party is launching a drive to share the accomplishments of the AAP government with the citizens of Delhi on February 11. In each of the 70 assemblies, the party will conduct a Vikas Yatra which will be led by the party MLAs, Ministers and senior leaders. The aim is to establish a dialogue with the citizens," Delhi convenor of AAP, Gopal Rai, briefed in Pres conference
"We are very proud that in the last three years the AAP government has fulfilled almost 90% of the manifesto promises, and it is the only government in India to have done so," said Rai. He further stated that in the second phase the party functionaries will meet the citizens of their areas, especially 'booth in-charges' and will share all the work done by the Delhi Government.
"You all may be aware that there are many state governments run by both the BJP and the Congress ( INC), but there is not a single state that can show even a fraction of the work done by the AAP government in Delhi. Despite facing many hindrances and deliberate hurdles, the AAP government has kept its focus on delivering the manifesto promises. We have delivered almost on all the commitments made in our election manifesto," he said.
