New Delhi: In a recent episode of the “Apni Dilli Apni Baat” podcast, BJP Delhi state president, Virendra Sachdeva, launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, accusing them of widespread corruption and administrative failures that have left the people of Delhi suffering. The discussion, which was hosted by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, delved into several key issues affecting the residents of the Capital.

Sachdeva criticised the AAP for the lavish expenses on the renovation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, calling it an example of gross misuse of public funds. He also pointed to the ongoing Delhi Liquor Scam, which he claimed further highlights the AAP government’s disregard for transparency and accountability. Additionally, Sachdeva raised concerns over the alleged illegal settlement of Rohingyas in Delhi, accusing the AAP of facilitating the creation of fake voter ID cards and using them to sway elections.

Other topics discussed included the halting of old-age pensions and the failure to issue new ration cards for nearly eight years, leaving many vulnerable citizens without support. The podcast also shed light on the Mohalla Clinic fraud, with claims of 65,000 fake medical tests and the distribution of expired medicines, further tainting the AAP’s record on healthcare.

Sachdeva boldly stated that the AAP, under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, had “looted Delhi more than the Mughals,” a remark that underscored the gravity of his allegations. The episode also promised more discussions on pressing issues as Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, social activist Mayank Gandhi, and economist Dr. Shamika Ravi are set to join the series in the coming days to educate voters and expose the alleged failures of the AAP government.
