55 spas sealed in Gurugram

Gurugram: Taking a stern action against the commercial units that were operating without the trade licences, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) sealed 55 spa centres in the city.

These spa centres were located in malls in the Zone-4 area. The municipal body has taken the action under sections 330,331,335 and 336 of the 1994 act. "The action has been taken by the municipal body as it was found that they were operating without the trade licences. As per law, we are authorised to seal such commercial units," said a senior official from MCG.

Moreover, as of now, the MCG has sealed 50 properties that have not paid the property tax or are functioning

illegally.
