25K DTC staff to get training on disaster management
NEW DELHI: In bid to curb fatal incidents in national Capital, Angel Qwatra Training's a Centre for Disaster Risk and safety training on Tuesday organized training Workshop to give 25,000 DTC staff including bus drivers, conductors and ground staff will to be trained for safety preparedness .With 50 trainees per batch and conducting two trainings per day, the module aims to cover the agenda in the next 250 days.
The training was conducted in hosted the presence of eminent dignitaries such as CMD DTC Manoj Kumar, VK Gupta Chief General Manager of DTC VK Gupta, Director General of Centre-Disaster Risk & Safety, and Founder, 'Philanthrope' Dr Angeli Qwatra. The training module of the workshop includes lecture cum demonstration with audio-visual presentation making it easily assailable assimilable and providing hands-on practical training, conducted by trained and internationally well-qualified professionals.
"The trainings would significantly reduce loss of life, increase prompt first-aid administration and develop a better rate of crisis response," said Kumar.
