23-km elevated road proposed from DND to Sector 150 in Noida
Noida: A 23-km elevated road has been proposed to connect the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) Flyway with Sector 150 in Noida, aiming to ease congestion and improve regional connectivity, officials said.
The project, currently in the planning stage, will initially have six lanes with provision for expansion to ten lanes. Authorities said the corridor will provide seamless access to the Yamuna Expressway and the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar, reducing travel time between Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida.
Officials from the Noida Authority said the road is being designed to meet traffic demand over the next two decades. Urban planning experts noted that it could decongest key arterial routes and ease peak-hour bottlenecks.
A senior official from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) said the project would significantly improve last-mile connectivity to the airport and strengthen the region’s transport network.
The proposal is currently under feasibility study and alignment planning, with execution likely in phases after approvals.
