20-year-old girl stabbed to death in Bhogal

New Delhi: A 20-year-old- girl was stabbed to death in South East Delhi's Bhogal area.

Police said that the accused in the case was thrashed by the public and later he was taken to hospital.

Police claimed that the incident took place on Friday's evening after the girl who works as a maid was returning after work.

The accused who was a neighbour to the girl attacked her with a knife. Later the accused was caught by the public who thrashed him.

Police was alerted about the incident. "We have started the investigation in the case from all angles," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Chinmoy Biswal.
