2 held for rash driving in Model Town area

NEW DELHI: A day after the incident of rash driving and accident was seen in Model town where a car was seen violently speeding away through a thick crowd, two arrests have been made by Delhi Police.

This vehicle was found registered in the name of Arun Kumar and with the help of technical and local sources, the police managed to trace the offending car.

During the investigation, the accused Arun Kumar stated that on the day of incident he along with his friend Pardeep, a resident of Palwal, Haryana took dinner in a restaurant in Hudson lane and while returning back to their rented accommodation at Uttam Nagar, his incident of rash driving and accident took place. They both are presently working as web designers in Tilak Nagar. Both the accused persons have been arrested and offending vehicle seized and section 308, 201 and 34 IPC and section 184 MV act have been added in the FIR. In the incident, a man identified as Kamal got hurt and was admitted to a nearby hospital.
