2 held for raping minor

Ghaziabad: Two persons, including a minor, have been arrested by Ghaziabad police for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in Masuri area of Ghaziabad.

Cops said that the accused persons have also shot an obscene video and photos of the victim and continued raping her for nearly a month by threatening her to make them viral.

According to police, the arrested accused has been identified as Avdhesh (19), a native of Indragarhi area in Masuri and a juvenile accused. Police are looking for their another accomplice who was also involved in the incident.

"Avadhesh has completed his 10th and is searching job while the juvenile is a student or class 10th," said police.

Naresh Kumar Singh, Station House Officer of Masuri police station said that one of the arrested accused raped the girl at her house while the other two molested her.

"Victim's parents told police that the alleged rape incident took place on July 13 when the victim was alone at her house as her parents had gone out for some work. Avadhesh, who lives in her neighbourhood allegedly barged into her house along with his younger brother and one of his friends. The accused forced himself upon the girl and raped her. He also shot her nude video and pictures while the other two accused molested her. They fled away from the spot after threatening her with dire consequences if she narrates the incident to anyone," said

The officer further said that the accused had blackmailed her several times and called her to different locations to rape her.

"Since the incident, the accused persons started blackmailing the victim and used to call her at different places. However, the girl gathered courage and narrated the ordeal to her parents who reported the matter to police. A case under relevant sections of IPC was registered and the arrest was made on Tuesday," added Singh.
