180 bottles of Scotland and Sweden made liquor seized

New Delhi: In a major catch, Delhi Police on Sunday claimed that they have arrested four people from Geeta Colony area with 180 bottles of imported liquor. Police claimed that the illegal liquor bottles were made in Scotland and Sweden.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Meghna Yadav stated that the accused were identified as Paramjeet (58), Parvinder (52), Varun (20) and Rakesh Marwah (40). These foreign liquor were being circulated across Delhi/NCR area in luxury vehicles. The vehicles carrying the illegal liquor (black coloured Toyota Fortuner and white coloured Honda Amaze), were also seized. "On investigating, Paramjeet is found to be involved in two similar cases in 2012 and 2015 respectively.The price of the bottles range from Rs. 2500 to Rs 4000," added

the DCP.
