11-year-old alleges gangrape by two minor boys

Ghaziabad: An 11-year-old girl has alleged that she had been gang-raped by two minor boys in Hindon air base area of Ghaziabad. The victim and the minor boys lived with their family inside the air base premises as their parents worked as domestic helps and other labour class works.

According to police, on Saturday evening, while the girl was playing outside her house, two boys living in her neighborhood lured her and took her to an isolated place and raped her. They too gave life threat to the girl if she will tell about the incident to anyone. Somehow she managed to come back to her home and told the ordeal to her parents who registered a complaint to police. "We have received a complaint that a girl has been raped by two minor boys aged 14 and 16 respectively, on Saturday evening. Following the complaint, an FIR under sections of rape and Protection of child from sexual offences has been registered" said a senior police official.

"Both the minor boys have been arrested by the police and sent to the correction homes while the girl was sent for medical examination, reports of which are awaited" the officer added.
