Delhi Technical University calls for applications for M Tech courses

The admission process for postgraduate (M Tech) courses of Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering, will commence from 25 April.
According to the university, admissions for full-time candidates will be purely on the basis of GATE score from among the candidates registered for online admissions. Along with candidates GATE score, percentage in qualifying examination will also be considered. No separate test/interview will be required. Selected candidates are required to take admission as per the schedule notified on the DTU admissions website and complete the necessary admission formalities and deposit the admission fee.
P B Sharma, vice-chancellor of the university, said, 'The DTU has strong industry interface and our curriculum has been designed as per the needs of the industry and is aimed to create specialised man power for engineering of tomorrow. Admissions to sponsored and part-timeĀ candidates will be on the basis of written test and interview as per the schedule notified on the DTU admissions website. The selected candidates shall be required to complete the necessary admission formalities and deposit the admission fee,' added Sharma.
Those applying for part-time course need not have GATE score but should be employed, with minimum one year of work experience, at the time of admission.
New M Tech programmes likely to be added from this academic year are nuclear science & engineering, computational design, bio-medical engineering, industrial bio-technology, plant engineering and renewable energy systems.
