Delhi Police rescue five more children under operation milap

Once again Delhi Police Crime Branch have succeeded in rescuing five more children staying in children’s homes in Delhi and handing them over to their respective families under a special drive. “The drive has been launched to check all children’s homes in Delhi for matching their records with the available data of missing or kidnapped children and has been named Operation Milap. Several teams have been constituted in Crime Branch for linking such children staying in the children’s homes. A total 70 children have been recovered/linked by Crime Branch under “Operation Milap” so far,” a senior police official said.
According to another cop, Crime Branch officials checked each and every child in the children’s homes and make all-out efforts to gather clues about their parents/home so that they can be rescued properly. Further, local police of all districts of Delhi are being asked to screen and document all the kids residing in shelter homes, on railway platforms, bus stands, roads, religious places, etc. Their photographs will be taken by the concerned police officials and documentation will be undertaken to link them correctly.
