Delhi Police Joint CP lauds criminals for ‘perfect crime’

For the first time, a senior Delhi Police official of the Crime Branch has praised two robbers for executing a perfect crime after they were arrested. The duo opened fire at a 61-year-old man, a money changer in Moti Nagar and robbed cash worth Rs 27 lakhs including the foreigner currency.

After the arrest of the two accused — Rajvir Yadav and Sunny Bharadwaj, both residents of Haryana, Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime called the incident a ‘perfect crime’ and ‘perfect robbery’.

It seems that the officer is inspired by these criminals as according to him they hatched the conspiracy in a perfect and planned manner.

According to Ravindra Yadav: “When the police team of the Crime Branch identified the duo accused and nabbed them, they were bewildered and incredulously asked the team as to how exactly they reached them.”

During investigation, it was learnt that Rajvir was unable to repay a loan amount so he planned to rob Jagdish Singh from whom he used to convert Indian currency into foreign currency. Rajvir works as a “carrier” from Delhi to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to Kolkata and he would carry dry fruits.

“Rajvir roped in Sunny as he was also facing financial crisis. Rajvir contacted an arms supplier of western UP and bought two country-made pistols and cartridges, which was later recovered by the police along with some robbed cash,” the official said.
