Delhi-Faridabad Metro to be extended to Ballabhgarh: Hooda

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said the Rs 2,500 crore Delhi-Faridabad Metro rail line will be extended up to Ballabhgarh.

‘For this, Rs 468 crore will be released soon,’ he told reporters after addressing a meeting of party workers at Ballabhgarh in Faridabad district on Delhi’s outskirts.

Hooda said the Congress will raise an ‘army’ of two lakh dedicated workers to ensure that the benefits of various welfare policies of the state government reaches to people. ‘Registration of workers is being done in each district and these workers would work at booth-level for strengthening the party,’ he said.
