Delhi court awards Rs 11 lakh to cyclist

A Delhi court has awarded a compensation of over Rs 11 lakh to a bicycle rider who was hit by 'Gramin Sewa' vehicle when he tried to avoid collision with a car whose driver flung open the door. The Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal presided by Dinesh Bhatt held the drivers and the owners of the negligently driver gramin sewa and the car liable to pay compensation.
