Delhi Constable mowed down

A 46-year-old Delhi Police constable was killed after he was allegedly mowed down by an unidentified vehicle while he was returning home from work on Tuesday night. The victim, identified as constable Om Prakash was posted at the Seventh Battalion at Malviya Nagar in south Delhi. He was returning home on his bike when he was rammed by an unidentified vehicle near Welcome Metro station in northeast Delhi at around 10 pm on Tuesday. A passer-by saw the cop lying on the road in a pool of blood and made a PCR call following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
