Delhi Congress president takes on BJP and AAP

Due to the severe shortage of power and water, the streets of Delhi will be jammed in the coming days with angry people holding agitations outside government offices that have created a virtual ‘Jungle Raj.’

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Arvinder Singh Lovely, expressing concern over the situation, said if the situation did not improve in the next 24 hours, the common man would come out on the streets, disturbing the everyday life. The Congress, holding the BJP and Arvind Kejriwal for the prevailing “jungle raj”, alleged that the saffron brigade had made the people sign on forms about their problems, was enacting a drama to divert the attention of the people from the power and water woes.

Similarly, Arvind Kejriwal, to cover up his inefficiency, was also doing a drama by taking the opinion of the mohalla sabhas. Congress Legislative Party Leader Haroon Yusuf slammed the BJP on power crisis. Yusuf said that Delhi Lieutenant Governor works as ‘Delhi administrator’ under the Union Home minister. In such a situation, anything that takes place in the city is his duty.

‘During the 15-year-rule of the Congress Party, people were getting 24-hour power supply, and because of that people had stopped using generators and invertors in their homes,’ said senior Congress MLA Mateen Ahmed.

The Congress leaders said the people of Delhi were worried that the power tariff has been hiked in the bills without any proper announcement to that effect. Arvinder Singh said the people of Delhi were now searching for the leaders of the BJP and the AAP, who had promised them cheap power and water.
