Delhi Congress dissolves party cells, departments

Congress’s Delhi unit chief Arvinder Singh Lovely on Thursday dissolved the executive committee, various cells and departments of the DPCC, paving way for organisational restructuring of the party.
DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma said the executive committee and various cells and departments were dissloved to restructure the party’s Delhi unit. He said the new office bearers would be appointed before June and all ‘devoted’ party workers would be given places in the new set up. Lovely dissolved the existing committees following a directive from the AICC general secretary in-charge of Delhi Shakeel Ahmed.
Earlier, addressing a meeting of youth workers of the party, Lovely appealed them to go to each and every residential house in the city to explain Congress’ policies and programmes as well as the achievements.
