Delhi Chief secretary Deepak Mohan Spolia is in stable condition and will be discharged soon. “Deepak Mohan was admitted on Sunday morning here. He complained of heart problems but tests have been conducted and now, he is doing fine. There is no artery blockage. He will undergo a check up on Wednesday and accordingly he will be discharged,” S P Jayant, medical superintendent at Govind Ballah Pant hospital, said.
He further added that he was being treated by Sanjay Tyagi, head of department of cardiology at the hospital. Deepak Mohan Spolia, an IAS officer of 1979 batch, took over as Chief Secretary of Delhi on August 28, 2014.
