The women’s wing of the Delhi BJP on Thursday initiated ‘Jan Jan Modi, Ghaar Ghar Modi’ campaign in the city to secure votes in favour of the party.
‘We are seeking votes for Modi and our workers are canvassing the city. We are not waiting for the declaration of candidates, whosoever it may be. Workers are ready to canvass for the party,’ said Harsh Vardhan, Delhi BJP chief.
He further said that women constitute about 49 per cent of votes in all seven Lok Sabha constituencies. ‘If BJP completes their contact programme before the date of elections then the Modi wave will turn into Modi storm in Delhi,’ he added.
Under this program the Mahila Morcha is holding meetings at each district and is trying to create contact with voters for about 18 hours a day till the date of elections. Workers have been deployed to visit women voters and establish person to person contact.
