DDA’s lucky draw on 17 Nov

‘There will be a mock drill on Sunday in full gear and final draw would be conducted on Monday from 11.30 am onwards. The draw is likely to complete within 2-3 hours,’ said Balvinder Kumar, vice chairperson of DDA.

The applicants can also view the live draw on the website of DDA for which the authority has made proper arrangements. Earlier, in the mock drills the draw was taking over six to seven hours to complete as the data includes several categories and sub-categories but after compacting the data we have significantly reduced the time, said a senior officer of systems department of DDA.

The present housing scheme of DDA was launched on 1 September and closed on 15 October after an extension. Initially, the draw was scheduled to be held on 5 November but following delays in the processing of all the applications, it was postponed to 10 November.

As discrepancies in the data was recorded the consumers on the mock draw on 10 November, the applicants were given two days time to get it corrected. The authority has roped in C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) in carrying out the draw, which will be held at the development authority’s Vikas Sadan headquarters.
