In order to streamline policies and making its guidelines transparent, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has prepared “Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)” on technical documents like Master Plan and Building Permit Procedure which are now available on the website. Frequently Asked Questions on Master Plan-2021 provides clarifications on queries raised by the public from time to time through RTI applications, letters, etc. The section will cover FAQs on aspects like residential, wholesale (commercial), commercial (retail), industry, land pooling, social infrastructure, building plan permit, etc. The DDA has expected that the number of correspondences and visits of the general public to DDA offices may get reduced as a result of the information being placed in the public domain.
Senior officials said that as a part of DDA’s ongoing efforts to provide efficient and timely services to the public to facilitate property development, it has been decided to prepare a Hand Book on Development Control Norms, to inform and guide the public on the procedure of submitting development applications/building permits. The purpose of this handbook is to simplify and make the Master Plan of Delhi user-friendly which is perceived as a technical document difficult to understand.
“In this direction, DDA has prepared a “Hand Book on Development Controls for Residential Development” and uploaded on its website. Visit our hotlinks or go to tp://dda.org.in/ddanew/planning.aspx,” said an official.
