The vice chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Tuesday issued strict guidelines for compliance of submission of annual immovable property returns to all its group A and group B employees to ensure transparency. The decision came after 412 officers did not submit the return for last year.
'The decision was taken by DDA vice chairman D Dipti Vilasa and he has directed the personnel department to issue warning letters to all the defaulting group A and group B officers to file their annual immoveable property returns,' said a DDA spokesperson.
According to the direction if any employee does not respond even after ten days of the issue of show-cause notice, a warning will be issued and suitable administrative action initiated against the defaulting employee. As per the DDA Act group A and B employees of the corporation are required to submit annual immoveable property returns of 2012 by 31 January.
