DCW to cops: report on city’s dark spots

The DCW has written to B S Bassi seeking a detailed report on the findings of the Delhi Police regarding the mapping of dark spots in the national Capital. “Commission has been informed of the presence of dark spots in Delhi. It has also been brought to our notice that Delhi Police has conducted mapping of the dark spots in Delhi. Therefore, you are requested to provide the findings of the mapping exercise for the perusal of the Commission,” said the letter by DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal. She has sought details of the roads, streets and localities where there are either no or non-functional streetlights.
