Dawood call logs: AAP attacks Rijiju over probe against Khadse

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju in-charge to cover up Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse’s connection with the infamous D-company.

Rijiju’s statement that the charges against Khadse were serious and a probe was on showed that PM Modi wanted to give his underworld-linked minister Khadse adequate time to destroy all evidences against him, delete incriminating chats, mails, communications and call logs before the police 

summoned him for questioning, said AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon.

“In ordinary circumstances, a person accused of talking to Dawood Ibrahim would have been immediately arrested and his phones and computers would have been sent for forensic analysis. His accounts would have been frozen and house and offices would have been raided. But in Khadse’s case the PMO tried hiding the information for more than a fortnight,” she added.
