Daily wager stabbed to death in Nangloi after altercation

A 28-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by two men after an altercation that started when one of them accidentally tripped over and bumped on the victim, near Nangloi village in Delhi, on Sunday.
The victim was later identified by the police as Harish Pandey (28), who worked as a labourer in Nangloi.
According to a source, around 9.15 pm on Sunday, Pandey was walking on the road with one of his friend Tiwari, near the NDPL subway at Nangloi. Two other men were also walking on the same lane and one of them accidentally tripped over and bumped on Pandey, which led to an altercation between them.
Suddenly,one of them pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed Pandey in his abdomen, after which they fled from the spot.
Tiwari rushed Pandey to the nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. ‘It was the hospital authorities who informed the police about his death. Police reached the hospital immediately and registered a murder case on the basis of Tiwari’s statement,’ said a source.
‘No arrests have been made yet and police is still looking for the accused duo,’ the source added.
