Curfew back in Jamshedpur after 4 hrs

Curfew has been reimposed in Jamshedpur city on Wednesday after a four-hour relaxation as tension continued to prevail in the affected areas of Mango.
East Singhbhum district administration had <g data-gr-id="12">relaxed</g> curfew from 1 pm to 5 pm in all police station areas, barring four affected police station areas – Mango, <g data-gr-id="13">Olidih</g>, <g data-gr-id="14">Azadnagar</g> and MGM, district officials said.
Prompt action by the administration averted untoward incidents at Munshi Mohalla in Mango and Dhatkidih in the afternoon. Miscreants allegedly hurled crude bombs near Munshi Mohalla, but police brought the situation under control.
The district administration has announced <g data-gr-id="16">closure</g> of all schools in the urban areas on Thursday in view of the prevailing situation, District Public Relation Officer, Avinash, said quoting Deputy Commissioner Dr Amitabh Kaushal. Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has deferred the complementary matriculation and intermediate examinations, which began on July 21 at all six centres in Jamshedpur till further orders, Avinash said.
