Culture Minister stresses on timely spending of funds

Emphasising on timely spending of funds, Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma on Wednesday said that a weekly monitoring system will be soon introduced for organisations functioning under his ministry.
Participating in the first meeting of the heads of organisations under the Ministry of Culture here, he said that 67 per cent of the funds must be spent by December as per guidelines and targets to be met. To highlight the importance of these organisations and their officials, a booklet on all such bodies and their officials will be published, Sharma said.
