Couple working with NTPC commits suicide

A young couple working with the National Thermal Power Corporation in Greater Noida committed suicide by consuming poison on Thursday.
According to the police, the duo living in separate apartments were found unconscious in their rooms by their families. Their bodies have been sent for the post-mortem. This is the second incident of suicide this month in the area.
Police informed that the incident came to light early on Thursday morning when families of Pankaj (24) and Sadhna (22) both residents of NTPC colony in Jarcha, found them lying unconscious in their rooms. They immediately called police and took both to Yashoda hospital in Ghaziabad where they were declared brought dead.
During interrogation, the families revealed that both Sadhna and Pankaj were in a relationship since many years and wanted to settle down but their parents were against the marriage. A few days ago, both the deceased reportedly had arguments with their parents and were mentally disturbed after that. However, no suicide note has been found yet.
