Couple found dead in Mayur Vihar

A couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar area on Saturday.

They have been identified as Sudhanshu Raja (24) and Jyoti Thakur (22), both natives of Uttarakhand. 

However, the police haven’t yet been able to ascertain whether they were married, a senior police official said. The police have not found no suicide note.

The police were informed following which the couple were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared brought dead, he said.
