Corporation Bank’s Q4 net rises 1.2%

Corporation Bank on Wednesday reported a marginal increase of 1.2 per cent in its net profit at Rs 355.53 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31 March, of last fiscal. The bank had reported net profit of Rs 351.26 crore during the corresponding period (January-March) of 2011-12.
Total income of the bank in the fourth quarter of 2012-13 rose to Rs 4,635.49 crore, up from Rs 4,009.17 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. For the entire fiscal 2012-13, the net profit of the bank fell to Rs 1,443.24 crore from Rs 1,518.38 crore a year earlier. Bank’s net NPAs or bad loan increased to 1.19 per cent in the quarter.
