Corporate espionage: Judicial custody of six extended

A court on Wednesday extended till April 15 the judicial custody of six people who have been accused of leakage and sale of confidential government documents.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special CBI Judge S.C. Rajan remanded chartered accountant Khemchand Gandhi and Paresh Chimanlal Budhdev, a partner in Mumbai-based Chitale and Associates, with four others in 14-day judicial custody.
All six accused were presented before court in connection with the leakage and sale of confidential government documents stolen from various ministries in New Delhi. Four government employees — Ashok Kumar Singh, Lala Ram Sharma, Daljeet Singh and Ram Niwas — are the other accused in the case.
