Cops nab three thieves

Two youths were arrested for their alleged involvement in thefts of car accessories in South Delhi area, police said on Friday.

Manish Yadav, 20, and Narinder Yadav, 21, were arrested from a South Delhi locality yesterday. Police recovered six stolen mobiles phones, five stereos, three walkman, six stereo remotes and four speakers from their possession.

The police action came after one Shakir Ali complained that someone had broken the car window and had stolen stereo, his wallet and CDs.

Windows of few other cars which were parked nearby had also been broken and articles stolen, he had said in the complaint.

Acting on a specific information, the team apprehended Manish and Narender.

'During interrogation, the duo disclosed that they have committed series of such crime including house theft. Both accused were produced before the court and brought on police remand and at their instances stolen several articles were recovered,' Chhaya Sharma, DCP (South District), said.

Another person, meanwhile, was arrested in Rajouri Garden for allegedly stealing a two-wheeler from the area. Love Sabharwal was arrested and a two-wheeler and artificial gold jewellery items were recovered from his possession.

Acting on a specific information, police stopped Sabharwal vehicle's during routine checking and arrested him.
