Cops bust inter-state drug syndicate, heroin worth Rs 10 crore recovered

An inter-state narcotic drug syndicate has been busted by the Delhi police.

The three-member team involved in this drug trafficking has been caught red-handed. Heroin worth more than Rs 10 crore in international market has been recovered. The police have also recovered three mobile phones and a car used in trafficking.

The three- member team include Mukesh alias Ajay,  Validad khan alias Balidas and Md. Yasin  alias Pawa, who were caught by the police with 3.665 kg heroine. Mukesh alias Ajay was caught by police from old Delhi railway station with a kilo heroine on 17 March. After interrogation, police obtained information about Validad Khan. The Special cell raided his house in Faridpur, Bareilly in the wee hours of 19 March. He caught red-handed with 625 gm heroin as he was trying to dispose it by flushing it in the toilet.

Validad alias Balidas, 40, belongs to Behara village where opium is cultivated for medical and pharmaceutical purpose. Balidas, the key member of this drug syndicate, is expert in manufacturing heroine from opium.

The two other members of the team belongs to Delhi. Mukesh was working in a factory in mangolpuri area. He entered this business under the influenced of a relative of him,Chaman. While working with Chaman he learnt all the skill of drug trafficking and after that he started his own network.  Md. Yasin is involved in three criminal cases including a murder case and arms acts.

The special cell has been following them after getting information about the activities of this syndicate. The team is led by Inspector Atter Singh, Northern Range Special cell, under supervision of Satyavir Dagar ACP/NR.
