Cops arrest chain snatchers, solve six cases

With the arrest of two notorious chain snatchers-cum-car thieves, Jasvinder and Harpreet, Police claims to have solved six unsolved cases. The two were arrested on Sunday. During interrogation, the duo disclosed their involvement in a number of unsolved cases. A stolen motor cycle was recovered from their possession. They also confessed to have been involved in snatching cases in Hari Nagar, a purse snatching case of Rajouri Garden and one motor cycle theft from the area of Tilak nagar.
20-KG MARIJUANA SEIZED
South-west district police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers, recovering 20-kg weed from their possession. Cops also impounded the vehicle used by the duo, who have been identified as Kamla and Jitender, to transport the contraband. On Saturday, officials at Sagarpur PS were tipped off about two peddlers travelling in a SUV from Palam to Brahmpuri. Accordingly, a force was quickly dispatched to Kailashpuri Chowk which nabbed the duo red-handed.
JUVENILE BURGLAR CAUGHT
Delhi Police apprehended a juvenile burglar on Monday who was responsible for a major theft in Chattarpur area. With his arrest, stolen goods worth Rs 2 lakh were recovered.
