Congress wishes to part ways with NCP in Goa, says AICC secretary

Congress leaders wish to discontinue their alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls in Goa, staking their claim to both North Goa as well as South Goa seats, a senior Congress leader said here on Wednesday. All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary A Chellakumar said local leaders of the party were of the opinion that they should contest from both the seats.
