Congress blasted for dig at Jagan's mother

YSR Congress party today criticised Vijaywada MP and Congress leader Lagdapati Rajagopal for his alleged comment targetting Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's mother.

'Rajagopal should not cross his limits and learn a few lessons on how to behave as an MP,' YSR Congress city convener Jaleel Khan told reports here.

He was reacting to the MP's alleged remark last week that 'Vijayamma did not train her son Jagan as a gentleman.'

Khan also accused the Congress leader of saving his brother Sreedhar by 'influencing' the CBI from carrying out investigations against him in connection with the investment of Rs 50 crore he had made in Telugu daily 'Sakshi', owned by Jagan, who is currently grilled by CBI in a graft case.

He also demanded investigations into the alleged purchase of 650 acres of Wakf land in Hyderabad by Rajagopal.

Khan alleged that the Congress was carrying out misinformation campaign against Jagan and his supporters over the law and order issue if the Kadapa MP is arrested.
