Cong Seva Dal member held for sodomising kid

In a gruesome incident, a member of the Congress Lok Seva Dal has been booked for sodomy with a minor boy.
According to police, the incident took place in Krishna Nagar area of east Delhi over the last weekend. The politician, identified as Jugal Kishore, 49, is a resident of Krishna Nagar and has a business of property dealing in the same area. He, along with his two friends, took an 11-year-old boy at a flat in an isolated place and sodomised him one after another.
On the evening of Friday, Kishore, along with Balbir, saw Ankit (name changed), who is the son of one of the part-time employees in Kishore’s property business.
Ankit went to the market to buy milk, as asked by his 29-year-old mother.
‘When Kishore and Balbir spotted the boy in the local grocery shop in the market, they convinced Ankit to come along to a flat, that was arranged by their friend, another accused. When Ankit entered the flat, he found an unknown man there, waiting for them.
‘Kishore then locked the door from inside,’ the official said, quoting the victim.
The victim told to police that he was sexually harassed by the trio. When he tried to raise an alarm, his mouth was tied with a cloth. As he he put in effort to resist them, he was brutally beaten. The accused then left Ankit, after threatening him with his life. Ankit somehow managed to reach his home and he narrated the whole incident to his mother, who later lodged a complaint against the accused.
‘A medical test was conducted in a nearby hospital and the reports confirmed that he was sodomised. On the basis of the reports and the statement given by the victim, Kishore and Balbir have been apprehended. Both were nabbed from their residences. The third person is yet to be identified and is still absconding. The trio has been booked under section-377 (unnatural offence) of Indian Penal Code,’ the official added.
