Cong has outsourced AAP to ensure hung LS: Lekhi

Speaking to Millennium Post, Lekhi said, ‘The entire script has been written by Congress party at 10 Janpath and they have outsourced the AAP drama company to enact it. We are of the view that accountability of Delhi police officers must be fixed. However at the same time we also demand that the responsibility of ministers be fixed’.
She also alleged double standards by AAP on their demand of Delhi police being brought under their government. ‘If Delhi police is forced to act on the whims and fancies of ministers then who will ensure impartiality of investigation,’ she questioned.
‘We favour full statehood of Delhi but it is a serious issue and should be resolved after serious discussions and deliberations. It’s a political issue and must be resolved within the ambit of the constitution,’ she added. Disapproving the methods used by Kejriwal, she said, ‘Delhi chief minister is not serious about any issue. This entire drama was played out to shield his law minister Somnath Bharti, who had been reprimanded by courts on several occasions,’ she said.
‘No criminal in India accepts his crime, it’s the court who decides whether any person has committed crime or not. Its the right of the court to acquit or penalise any persons. A chief minister has no role in interfering with the work of judiciary. He must ask his minister to resign and face the inquiry,’ she added.
