Cong cannot win elections by spreading lies: Modi

‘When people are fed up of mis-governance of the UPA government led by Congress, the party cannot win the elections by spreading lies,’ Modi was quoted as saying in a BJP statement. Modi was addressing a state executive meeting of the party held in Gandhinagar on Friday.
The chief minister told party workers to get at least one lakh people enrolled in each Lok Sabha constituency in Gujarat with the BJP before the elections.
He also stressed on the use of social media saying it can play a vital role in reaching out to the people.
During the meeting, the BJP decided to launch their ‘one note, vote on lotus’ programme in the state from 11 to 20 January. The party will also take up door-to-door campaign for the Lok Sabha elections during that time.
The party will hold a mega youth rally in the city on 20 January.
